Imagined Realities

Kate Proudman often works in a collaborative way, and in the Imagined Realities series, each work is made in response to a written description of a place of personal significance provided by an individual. After a long process of painting and repainting, elements from the description are combined to compose an imagined space which hovers between the figurative and the abstract.
